Ezekiel 39 says that at the time after that war with Gog and Magog, God would no longer hide His face from the nation of Israel, but that He would pour out His Spirit upon His people (Ezekiel 39:29). This is the answer to the question the disciples asked in Acts 1:6, when the Kingdom would be restored to the nation (see here for more on that).
One must remember, that while many branches were broken off from the olive bush of Israel, Israel is still the root, and God has said that He will save all of Israel (Romans 11:24), and that He they would always be a nation before Him.
Jerusalem will always be inhabited (Joel 3:20), and must not be ignored. It is the purpose and plan of God, that He has fore-ordained, and we would be wise to remember that whoever touches Israel touches the apple of God’s eye.
There is salvation in no other name than Jesus Christ. One day, the Jewish nation will realize their Messiah, Jesus Christ, and they will all bow to Him, and receive the Holy Spirit. Despite the intervening 2000 years, and all that has happened, and no matter how He chooses for us to relate to them in the mean time, we must remember that while many are unsaved now, and are to be regarded as “enemies” for the faith’s sake, the nation will be restored, and all of Israel will be saved.
